STUDY VISIT IN THE COMPANY LOTNICZY DWORZEC TOWAROWY SP. Z O.O.

On May 17th 2022, the students of the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław participated in a study visit in the company Lotniczy Dworzec Towarowy Sp. z o.o. in Wroclaw. The study visit was as part of the EU Project - Integrated Program of University Development as a Guarantee of Students’ Success.

During the meeting, the students gained knowledge in the area of managing a multi-person enterprise offering a wide range of services for the logistics industry. The participants were also shown around the various departments within the warehouse and the office serving carriers. The students had the opportunity to take a close look at the whole process of receiving goods, checking their safety and repacking them on pallets suitable for air transport. The meeting was led by Robert Gronski, who is a cargo specialist at the Lotniczy Dworzec Towarowy company in Wrocław.

Lotniczy Dworzec Towarowy Sp. z o.o. has been operating at the airport in Wrocław since June 1st, 1999. The company's goal is to create at the airport in Wrocław the best conditions for the functioning and development of complex logistics services related to air and road transport of goods. LDT also offers warehousing services related to the customs warehouse, bonded warehouse, customs warehouse and domestic warehouse, as well as provides complex services for road, air and sea transport.
