Taking part in the General Motors/Wayne State University contest gives the great opportunity to put into the practice all the knowledge that you acquired while studying. It is also a great chance to meet new, interesting people from all around the world, and see what  their point of view on the various problems is and what are different ways of solving them. Participation in the contest gave me also the opportunity to gain more knowledge about the automotive sector. Thanks to the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław I could take part not only in the contest but also in the solemn award ceremony in Detroit, USA. Our hosts made this event for as un unforgettable experience by organizing a visit to the GM headquarters and factories. Experience gained at the IULT enables us as  students to compete with the best from TFL sector.

My name is Kateryna Bondarenko and I am studying Logistics at the IULT. The University gives me the great opportunity to develop my knowledge about TFL sector by participating in the activities of Logistiqa scientific circle of which I am the president at the moment. The University students, thanks to the university’s support, are able to participate in numerous events such as academic conferences, meetings with employers or visiting companies from TFL sector. Personally I always try to take advantage of such opportunities. One of the most unforgettable experiences was for me the participation in the last edition of the Logistics and Warehousing Congress “Modern Warehouse”. It is also a pleasure for me to cooperate with our Careers Service while organizing various activities for students. I am glad that the University gives me the possibility to continuously develop myself as a person and as a professional. I would like to encourage all of you to choose the prospective field of study -Logistics and to join our scientific circle “Logistiqa”.

It is an honor for me to be a member of the scientific circle “ Logistiqa” from the very beginning of its operation. Without doubts it is a great experience. Thanks to the “ Logistiqa” we all learned a lot, starting from the principles of Logistics, through the participation in various trade events,  up to organizing our own Logistics conference. I can truly recommend joining our group to all  students who are interested in professional development and gaining extra-curricular knowledge.
