MATERIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE IULT STUDENTS IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/2025
1. General Information
Students can apply to the University for material assistance from the scholarship fund referred to in Article 412 of the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668, as amended) in the form of:
- a maintenance grant;
- scholarship for persons with disabilities;
- allowance;
- Rector's scholarship.
2. Regulations Governing the Awarding of Benefits
The awarding of benefits is governed by the following:
- the regulation of the Minister of Family, Labor, and Social Policy on the procedure for granting family benefits and the scope of information required in applications, certificates, and declarations to establish entitlement to family benefits (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1446);
- the Act of November 28, 2003, on Family Benefits (Journal of Laws of 2015, item 114, as amended);
- the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668, as amended);
- the Regulations on Material Assistance for the IULT Students.
3. Application Deadlines and Submission Locations
Applications must be submitted in person in room no. 8 from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Additionally, part-time students can submit applications during scheduled class weekends (Saturday-Sunday) at the Dean's Office from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. On one selected day during class weekends, applications can also be submitted in room no. 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
4. Important Additional Information
- Each student applying for a scholarship must familiarize him or herself with the IULT Regulations for Material Assistance.
- Applications must be filled out CLEARLY and IN CAPITAL LETTERS, ensuring that ALL REQUIRED FIELDS are completed.
- Each application must include: a Data Processing Information sheet and Declarations (available in the PDF format with the application).
- Appropriate documents verifying the information in the application must be attached.
- Submitted applications will be reviewed in November/December, and scholarships granted will be paid promptly with retroactive compensation for October.
- In the winter semester, only students admitted in the winter intake are eligible to submit applications (with the exception of allowance).
Scholarship payments will be made at the end of the month after receiving the decision.
