STUDY VISIT AT HMT HELDENER METALLTECHNIK POLSKA

On April 25, 2023, a study trip to HMT Heldener Metalltechnik Polska Sp. z o.o. Co. Sp. k. in Środa Śląska. The trip was organized as part of the EU Project - Integrated University Development Program as a Guarantee of Students' Success.

HMT Heldener Metalltechnik Polska Sp. z o.o. & Co. Sp. k. is a subsidiary of a German company in Poland. Production includes prefabs for the HMT value chain, which are further processed in Germany before they reach the market. The plant also produces stamped parts that are sold locally, including to automaker General Motors, as well as some niche vehicle manufacturers.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with the specifics of working in the automotive industry.

During the study visit, during the presentation of the company, one of the topics was, among others, the history of the company. Then, the factory and the warehouse were visited, where students could see what the individual stages of work look like.

Thanks to the visit, students learned about the logistics and quality requirements in the automotive industry, they also gained knowledge about the specifics of work as well as planning and implementation of logistics processes.

The host was Mr. Radosław Dąbrowski - Member of the Management Board Operation Director, who has been with the company from the beginning of its existence.
