STUDY VISIT AT 3M POLAND MANUFACTURING

On April 26, 2023, a study trip to 3M Poland Manufacturing Sp. z o. o. in Wroclaw was organised for the IULT students. The trip took place as part of the project Qualified Personnel for the Automotive Industry in Lower Silesia.

3M is one of the world's largest technology and production companies, offering over 60 thousand of products that are applied in various industries e.g. transport, automotive, industry and construction.

During its 30-year history in Poland, 3M has become one of the flagship investors in Wrocław, actively cooperating with the city hall, the Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency and local economic institutions.

The purpose of the trip was to familiarize students with the latest 3M technologies, the specificity of work in the logistics department and safety rules and rescue technologies necessary to work in high temperatures and at heights.

During the visit, the students also visited the company's warehouse and Training Centre  which was created  having  company's employees in mind. The centre also serves as a laboratory where the company's products are tested.
