STUDY VISIT IN THE FRANKONIA POLAND COMPANY

On June 12, 2019, students of the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw, as part of the Automotive Leaders project, visited for the first time the headquarters of the company Frankonia Poland Ltd situated in Dzierżoniów. Frankonia Poland is one of the world’s leading producers and suppliers of screen rooms and anechoic chambers on the EMC market. Orders are carried out for the best global brands, including: BMW, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi, Opel, Daimler Benz-Mercedes, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Bosch and Philips. In almost 20 years, the company has sent its chambers for EMC measurements to Germany, Italy, France, Austria, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Hungary, Denmark, Belgium, Sweden, the Netherlands, Morocco, Israel, Australia, the United States United, China and India.

The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the Lean Manufacturing system in practice.
