THE MEETING WITH PROFESSOR RICHARD WILDING

On May 23-26, 2017 the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw hosted prof. Richard Wilding from the Cranfield School of Management (Great Britain), a world renowned expert in the Supply Chain industry and an Officer of the Order of the British Empire. Professor Wilding met the IULT stuff to discuss new trends in the logistics sector, as well as present the profile of the Higher Education Academy – an organization that aims at improving learning outcomes by raising the status and quality of teaching in higher education. On May 24th professor Wilding together with the Chancellor dr. Marcin Pawęska visited the Amazon Logistics Center in Wrocław, where they met the General Manager Mr. Marian Sepesi.

As Chair (Full Professor) in Supply Chain Strategy at the Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Cranfield School of Management U.K. Richard Wilding works with European and international companies on logistics and supply chain projects in all sectors including pharmaceutical, automotive, high technology and professional services to name a few. He is a highly acclaimed presenter and regularly speaks at Industrial Conferences and has undertaken lecture tours of Europe and Asia at the invitation of local Universities & Confederations of Industry. He has published widely in the area of supply chain management and is Editorial Advisor to a number of top journals in the area.
