On 17th-18th November 2024, the IULT in Wrocław hosted a delegation from the university, the innovation centre and public administration in Ningbo, China. For years the IULT has been cooperating with the Ningbo University of Technology, in the field of academic exchanges, study visits, library database and joint research projects, i.e. joint studies in the field of logistics.

During a visit in Wrocław Technology Park the delegates had an opportunity to discuss the topics related to the development of new technologies as well as possible cross-border projects in education and industry.

Afterwards the delegation was welcomed in the town hall of Wrocław by Renata Granowska, the First Deputy Mayor of Wrocław , who emphasised the importance of the city of Ningbo as a global logistics hub.

A meeting was also held with the IULT authorities, where attention was drawn to the importance of joint activities for a better understanding of the specifics of each region, strengthening scientific research and, above all, exchanging valuable experience.

The final point on the agenda was visiting the Industry Skills Centre, led by the IULT, where a forklift simulator, intralogistics stations and scenarios supporting training in VR technology were presented to the guests.
