On 4 - 6 June 2024, representatives and students of the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław, together with the representatives of the BCU Logistics Skills Centre took part in the most important event of the transport and logistics industry in Poland - the ITM Industry Europe and Modernlog 2024 trade fair, combined with the Smart Warehouse conference.

Industry patronage for this year's event was held by the IULT - within which the BCU Logistics Skills Centre operates.

The event attracts hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors from all over the world every year.

Representatives from the BCU Logistics Skills Centre, along with representatives and students from IULT in Wrocław who participated in the event, had the opportunity to learn about the largest companies in the TSL industry, both from Poland and abroad.

They also established closer contacts with company representatives and learned about the latest technological trends.

A fixed point in the event's programme were also machine demonstrations in the In4Log zone, where automation solutions, data digitalisation, distribution centre management, optimisation of logistics processes and modern warehouse equipment were presented.

A substantial highlight of the fair was the Smart Warehouse conference, which focused on the automation and digitalisation of warehouse work - in the age of Industry 4.0, the time has come for Logistics 4.0!

The participation in the conference and panel discussions by representatives of the universities and the BCU Logistics Skills Centre certainly enriched and supplemented the participants' theoretical knowledge.

It also familiarised them with the university's educational offerings and the industry training provided by BCU in the field of Logistics.
