DHL Express Poland Sp. z o.o. had the pleasure to cooperate with the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw within the framework the 5th Logistics Contest.
As the patron to the contest we offered to organize a paid work placement for the winner of this year’s edition. Our goal is to introduce young and ambitious people into the industry, those who see themselves in logistics in the future.
The event was organized professionally and efficiently. We perceive the subject-matter level of contest tasks as very high, which was confirmed by the participants themselves. Owing to this high level, the International University of Logistics and Transport appeals to both students and employers.

 

 

 

 

The International University of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław is the university approaching students entering the labour market with numerous initiatives. It educates students-specialists not only in theoretic aspects, but in the practical ones as well.
The Job fairs which took place from 30th until 31st January 2014 at the University’s premises are one of many initiatives organized by IULT. The venture was organized professionally. As one of numerous exhibitors, we are very satisfied with being given the opportunity to participate in the event.
For us, as a company developing at a rapid pace and searching for specialists from transport-forwarding-logistics sector, it was an enriching experience, but most of all the opportunity to find educated, creative and engaged members for our team, educated by IULT. The collaboration proves to be very sucesful. Recently we have had the opportunity to participate as exhibitors at the Job Fair organized by the University. The Job Fairs that took place at the IULT premises from 10th until 11th June 2006 were professionally organized. Our company, as a participant of the event, positively evaluates its organization, as well as the contact with the Careers’ Office. The people responsible for the fairs preparation had very professional attitude and remained extremely helpful throughout the event. The Job Fairs organized by IULT are a great initiative from the employer’s point of view. High attendance rate and the opportunity to organize case studies for students will certainly result in winning new employees. IKEA Wrocław has participated in the Job Fairs organized by the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw for the first time. We positively evaluate both the event and the cooperation with the Careers’ Office. We liked the way Fairs were organized, as the standard stands were accompanied by the case study workshops which allowed to build better relations with students and to present IKEA’s job offers.

Whirlpool Polska Sp. z o.o. has been cooperating with the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw within the framework of many projects the University organizes for their students.
As a company, we have had the opportunity to participate in the project “Leaders in Logistics” which aimed at supporting the cooperation between the University and employers in the area of practical elements of education (internships and work placements).
The graduate of IULT who took part in the “leaders in Logistics” project for 3 months worked as an intern in our company, and has fully met our expectations on the position appointed. At the moment the graduate successfully continues cooperation at Whirpool Polska sp. z o.o.

 

 

 

 

Our over-2-year-long cooperation with the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw has been a win-win situation. Apart from the possibilities to present our company in front of the best students of IULT, we have had the opportunity to invite selected people to take part in our work placement program, and some of them received employment contracts afterwards. We appreciate high standards of students recommended by the University, referring to both their theoretical knowledge and practical skills useful in our industry. We value the cooperation with IULT greatly, mainly due to their focus on practical aspects of education which is one of the elements highly praised by employers. Cyclical meetings of our company with IULT students are very popular, and they are organized in an impeccable manner.

The contact with the Careers’ Office who were responsible for the whole event, for providing the venue for exhibitors and base, was perfect. Organizing workshops for students which accompanied the fairs, was an excellent idea. Also the attendance rate at the Fairs was really satisfactory.
