The International University of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław is pleased to inform students and graduates of the first and second degree studies about an open architectural contest organized by the Ministry of Development and Technology.

Small Construction - Big Benefits is the title of the project with the concept of an individual recreation building with a development area of up to 70 m², it is also a continuation of the House Without Formalities program and a response to the high interest in house designs up to 70 m².

The aim of the contest is to promote young talents and their architectural ideas, which will undoubtedly make it easier for future engineering staff to gain their first experience and enable the presentation of innovative, original and fresh ideas.

The contest consists of three themes:

- 1st Theme: Development of a model project of an individual recreation building.

(Searching for optimal functional solutions ensuring recreational functions)

-  2nd Theme: Engineering of recreational buildings.

(Implementation of pro-ecological solutions by determining the ratio of the initial investment size to operating costs and indicating the moment of return on investment. Key issue: budget and financing)

-  3rd Theme: Remote work and geopolitical threat situation.

(Adaptation of recreational buildings to the needs of remote work and temporary residence in a crisis situation)

There are cash and material prizes to be won. Prizes will be awarded on each of the three themes.

II place: PLN 6,000

III place: PLN 4,000

Honourable mentions: PLN 2,000

The deadline for submitting competition entries is December 31, 2022.
