A STUDENT DEBATE DURING AN OPEN LECTURE
On October 25, 2025, an open lecture combined with a student debate was held, led by Mr. Łukasz Zawisza, M.A., a representative of the financial sector from the Bank of New York Mellon. The speaker represents the international banking sector and has over 10 years of professional experience gained in both domestic and international financial institutions.
The lecture focused on issues related to currency risk and the prevention of suspicious international transactions in banking practice. After the lecture, the students of the Logistics and Management programmes took part in a student debate moderated by the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Logistics and Transport, Dr. Eng. Michał Kruszyński, Professor at the IULT. Members of the LOGISTIQUA Student Scientific Circle also participated in the debate. Active participants in the debate received cinema vouchers.
During the 2025/2026 academic year, further lectures accompanied by student debates will be held, offering an excellent opportunity to exchange views, share experiences, and showcase students’ knowledge.
