STUDENTS OF WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY AND IULT IN WROCŁAW
In May and June 2020, students of Wayne State University in Detroit (Michigan USA) and students of IULT in Wroclaw participated in a joint project. The purpose of the venture was to identify and understand the cultural differences functioning in the world of logistics. The students organized a series of online meetings during which they held discussions. Their task was to find the most important differences and similarities in the business culture in force in Poland and the USA. Thanks to the project, students made new interpersonal acquaintances as well as developed language and communication skills.
„Our goal is to increase awareness of global business practices and diverse cultures by connecting students in the United States and Poland" said about the project Kevin Ketels, a WSU lecturer and the exchange coordinator on the side of the USA.
As a result of the exchange, reports and summaries were created on the basis of conducted interviews. The exchange was a continuation of the project that started in the academic year 2018/2019.
